^^ I resemble that remark! My trucks will be tasteful, but I'm still redneck, lol. :laughing1:

It looks perfect. There is a fine line between tastefully done and redneck hillbilly awful.

My truck is badass and I'm a "redneck"...so whats up??

I guess since I'm "redneck" it makes my truck look "hillbilly awful" pshhh please!

These are $30k-50k 4th gen ram 1500s we are talking about. It would damn hard to find a way to makes these look "awful"

I think your choice of words including "redneck" and "hillbilly" may be out of context and offensive ;)

Love the truck. Did you run into any problem getting your tips lifted? My brackets hang a little in the way of mine and my muffler guy said he didn't know if he could move them up. Just wondering what they did for you

Thats a typical issue. I know for some people that couldn't have them moved up actually "angled" them up. Im getting my body lift installed on Saturday and hopefully my welder can move them up :/

Looks great, going to lift my 2wd a bit too.

Question for everyone... Being in SoCal, I can pretty much say that the "stigma" of lifting a 2wd truck has been basically nonexistent for over a decade.. How is it in other necks of the woods?

I bought a 2wd because I had zero need for 4wd.. I used to live in Tahoe, and every truck I owned was 4wd for obvious reasons, I was going to leave this one stock height, but looking at all the pics on this forum, I really want some 35's under her!

for 2wd its just the front shocks

they are 2" longer which provides more travel with a coil spacer

I thought its been discussed that putting a longer shock on our 2WD's is a bad thing?

Its questionable, but it depends on the size of the spacer and shocks together. RAM designed the front suspension so that the shocks limit the suspension travel. Installing longer shocks to compensate for a spacer allows more travel, but if compressed too much the UCA can hit the top coil mount.

2.5" spacer and 2" longer shocks is about the maximum you would want to do on a 2wd front suspension.

Its up to the person and the ride quality they desire, keep in mind. Most daily drivers wont really notice the 2.5" spacer limiting the suspension, but off-road you will notice quick.
