Finally got new wheel and tires.

Truck is an 09 4x4, 3" PA body lift and 2.5 front, 1.5 rear daystar leveling kit.

Wheels are 17x9 0 offset chrome XD801 Crank's

Tires are 35x12.50R17 Nitto Trail Grappler.

First impressions coming from stock 20" chrome clad and stock Goodyear tires to this setup....

1) I haven't noticed much loss in performance, acceleration seems just fine, but I don't put the pedal to the metal either....

2) The truck does seem to wander a little more on the road. I'm sure this is a combination of larger sidewall and the nature of being a more aggressive tread tire. Nothing bad, just will take some getting used to.

3) Noise. Yes, there is a noticable increase in tire noise coming from stock which I expected. Although there is an increase in tire noise that is noticable, is not unbearable. You can turn the radio up and couple notches and youre good to go. The truck was already louder inside than stock due to the Flowmaster muffler, so this isn't much more than that.

For the moment I only have this one picture right after I left Discount Tire last night and I'm at work today so I will get some more pictures this evening.

A lot of the wandering probably comes from the increased width more than anything else. The 35s look good! Is that ding protector on your doors stock, or aftermarket? I miss the one from my 3500 3rd gen on both my newer trucks. :(

The trim on the doors was there when I bought the truck pre-owned so I'm not sure.

The clearance between control arm and tire is about the same as with the stock setup, just sticks outside the fender a little more....

clearance with the fender on the front is about perfect, shouldnt run into any problems there...

and a couple more just because...

Thanks for the compliments.

No, the level and body lift have been on for a while, just finally wore out the tires and got new ones.
