2013+ LED Taillights in a 2009-2012

Where are my wiring gurus at? I'm sure this topic has been brought up 100 times but I'm about to buy a set of 13+ OEM LED tail lights. I have a 2010 Ram 1500. I found this site that sells adapters but they are saying something about wires that should be with the factory tail lights, and that I can't install them without these wires? The tail lights I'm buying are just the two lights, no harnesses or wiring with them. Any input is welcomed, thanks!

So I'll need two of those harnesses in the link above ($30 each) as well as the adapters from that Retrofit shop which are $135? Didn't know putting the newer headlights in was so expensive.
