Hello! My battery finally died in the key fob for my 2013 Ram 1500. I opened the fob case and replaced the battery and closed it back up. When inserted into the ignition, it will start the truck normally, but the unlock/lock and autostart features won't work. Any ideas what I might have done wrong? I have confirmed the battery is inserted securely and oriented correctly.

Let the computer sort itself out
say 2 or 5 starts

My 2016 Spare FOB went squirrely 2 years ago
It was the Green Circuit Board that shorted out, causing my Ram's horn to start beeping, several times a minute

My new Spare FOB now in a plastic baggie, it is in parts & pieces

Also, if you have a second fob try the lock/unlock/remote start functions and see if they work. If the second fob works it’s most likely first fob is bad. If the second fob doesn’t work it could be a more complicated problem.
