2013 Ram won't start...

Went to start the truck yesterday, and dead battery. The battery is fine it will take a charge, and the alternator is also charging the battery. Made sure nothing was left powered on.

Next step was to see what was causing the drain while the truck was sitting overnight. Noticed today dead again, after charging the battery and driving around. Saw the EVIC would stay illuminated and would not shut off.

From reading on here and other forums, looks like the 8.4AN will need to be swapped out to fix the problem. Truck will go to the dealer tomorrow and ill post more on the outcome

Buggars, but that's what that old warranty is for. That sucks if the ignition doesn't stop that thingamajig from running.

From what I remember most newer computers will stop any drain on the battery after 10 minutes. So seems there is a malfunction happening there also…

With all these electronics I realize things may happen, I have had the truck for 11 months virtually problem free. I hate to say it but it may be worth to get the extended warranty.

I'll disconnect the battery tonight so I can bring it to the dealership in the AM

Dealer called back, said all recalls were done, and there is currently no draw on the battery. We will see if this holds true.

All recalls were done and seems the EVIC cluster now shuts down.

The recalls performed were:
N35 Reprogram BCM
N37 Reprogram ABS module/Stability Control
Reprogram RF Hub
Reprogram Radio
