2014 ram sport ccsb I bought on jan 1. I just hit 11k miles (in 4 months) and I have had 2 issues that aren't mechanical, 1) headlights fog up. They warrantied it but the services guy at the dealer had me a little angry so I will be finding a new dealership. 2) surface rust underneath on the rear end and exhaust. All within 1 month of purchase.

Other than that I love the truck. Hands down the best purchase to date. Mpg is no bueno in the city 13-15, but my hwy trips is see from 20-23mpg which I love.

Serious xm radio sometimes won't load. It just says acquiring signal. That's with perfectly clear skys with not a single hint of cloud in the sky. Only happened twice so far.

Sent from the past five days in the future just now.

I have a 2014 quad cab, 4x4, 5.7 hemi, big horn, so far the only problem that i have had with it is the front sensors in the bumper were going off for no reason (it was down pouring for 2 days, when this happened, lol) I am taking it to the dealership tuesday for them to look at it. It has the 8spd trans with the ability to shift through the gears, kind of slow shifting but then again it is a truck not a sports car. Over all I am extremely happy with the truck, I will be happier once I start modifying it in time.

This happens with the sensors get either in contact with rain drops, snow and slush, or road grime. All you have to do is temporarily disable them with the dash/center console switch (there's one for front and one for rear) then turn them back on after you wipe them off or they dry or both.

Have just under 1k miles on mine since I purchased it 9 days ago. Only thing so far that might be an issue is when listening to Pandora through uconnect, it suddenly stopped and started playing a media ringtone from my phone, did it twice over the weekend...

Oh, and realized I should have payed more attention to the gearing... Stuck with 3.21s, for now...

Just under 10k miles on my 2013 Big Horn and the digital dashboard shuts off and reboots every once in a while while driving over 50 mph. A bit unnerving to be speeding down the highway and watching all the gauges go to 0 and the screen turn off.

The only thing that I did not like about the new design cabs is the center floor console. I have spoken to a few guys at the dealer and they have said that the foot space on long trips can get uncomfortable because of no space on the floor next to the gas pedal. I have the outdorsman package which has the flip up console on the front seat so I don't have this issue, but I have heard it can be a pain for longer, big footed people! Anyone?

i thought the same thing when i seen the full console, looked kinda cramped like a car or suv which to me isn't truck like. that said there still isn't much room beside the gas pedal which is a bit annoying but not anywhere near what it would be with the full console

I can't stand the center console. I'd rather have the flexibility for another butt in the seat. I have 6 in the family and to go camping I need a 6 seater. Not many bench seats in the crew cab outdoorsman with a 6-4 box. Had a dealer check and they only found 3 in a 300mi radius (which includes Detroit for me).

2014 Big Horn QC 5.7 8spd. Thing rides like it's on air, but I came from an 03 2500. I sure notice the ATV trailer when it's back there, didn't notice it at all on the 2500. But I didn't want to spend another $3k for the 2500, not to mention lower MPG.

I've got 2700 miles on it, issues so far:
I have the factory remote start and the range on the key FOB is pitiful. Wife's aftermarket I can start her car on the other side of the parking garage, I have to be within 50' on mine.
I noticed that is has to be pretty dark for the lights to go on. Every other car I've ever had the lights go on just before dusk. These don't seem to go on until it's almost dangerously dark.

At about 1,700 miles My check engine light (MIL) came on while on a road trip. It stayed on for about 200 miles and 3 or 4 start/stop cycles. Then went away.

Now I'm at 2,500 miles and still smelling a burning oil smell.

I wish they had provided more room next to the gas pedal. I have only 2500 miles and I already have a mark in my carpet where my foot hits it.

Get a FUEL SENSOR FAIL notice on the evic and the gas gauge goes to empty. Happened once or twice when the truck was new, problem returned and took it to the dealer. Service guy told me it was some kind of sending unit that sends the info wirelessly to the cab, and the cab wasn't receiving the signal. Ordered a replacement part for me but I cant bring it in for two weeks cause i'm out of town.
11000km on 2014 outdoorsman.

I might be pulling the trigger on a brand new Ram but before I do is there anything to look out for? Would be a Big Horn, loaded. Any and all advice is appreciated!

So far on my 2014 2500 I got it home Monday. With 200 miles on it I noticed they put 5.7 badging on my 6.4 truck. Dealer getting new badging but why didn't I notice that while on the lot? Dealer didn't notice either.

Big Horn 2500 6.7L with 800+ miles and no issues so far. It get's better mileage than the 2013 1500 that I traded in.
