I posted here the day I got my new Laramie Limited. I now officially love the tow mirrors. I just thought they looked weird and didn't think they were necessary. I have virtually no blind spot with them and they are heated like on my 2010. I have never bought any truck expecting good gas mileage but this thing is surprising me big time. On my weekend hunting trips it killed the 2010. On the way down, about 180 miles, I averaged 21.1 mpg and avg speed was 70. Best ever on way down in 2010 was 19.1 and that was babying it all the way. Mostly highway and last 50 miles are two lane county roads. Round trip was 19 mpg and that includes driving around the property and around town for two days. Around town at home I am getting 17.6 to 18 mpg. Best I ever got in 2010 was 15.4. Plus I only had 2K miles on it at the time of the trip. Since the diesel just came out I was kind of thinking maybe I should have waited but with the est mpg on it I don't think it would have been worth it. It costs more, diesel fuel costs more and every thing I read says maintaining a diesel costs more. Either way my 2014 is awesome.

Great that your enjoying the truck. I had a 2010 as well before I traded for the 2013. Only thing is that my 2010 had the tow mirrors and the 2013 doesn't. I like the power folding on them and it's the one thing that the tows were lacking. But man do I miss those tows.

It's as you said 0 blind spot. It's a shame that dodge doesn't make them power folding and rotating. I do a ****load of towing so I'm really missing them.

Good thing I got my truck when I did. Because I was thinking about the diesel but I found it is a fiat/gm motor not a cummins. The new Titan with the cummins might pull some ram owners away.

I do have the 8 speed. Think thats the only option on the limited. Pretty sure it's the 3.92 also.

Hmm, I don't think the Limiteds had the 3.92 option. I may be wrong, but when I was shopping around I think 3.55 was the only option. Maybe someone else will chime in. Either way, you have an awesome truck. I am loving my '14 as well.

Haven't checked in a while but the only 2 options for rears are the 3.21 and the 3.92. The 3.55 is not on the option list right now. I don't think the 3.55 was an option for the Hemi for model year 2014 unless it was in the early production Rams.

The diesel will come standard with the 3.55 and the 3.92 will be an option for it sometime in January or February.

Kind of wonder if Chrysler was holding all the 3.55's for diesel production.

Wanted to be sure so crawled under it and I actually have the 3.21 rear end. Could have sworn I read 3.92 somewhere when I was at the dealership.

I have the 8 speed with 3.21 gears as well in my '13. Hope you're not towing anything, because the tow rate is lower than 8,000 lbs. I think it's 7700lbs. To me it doesn't really matter, as I don't tow much of anything with mine.

I only tow my Polaris Ranger a few times a year and it does just fine. I can't imagine a 3.92 in this thing. I guess if I needed to pull down buildings or trees it would be handy.
Here are pics from the day I brought her home.

I like, I like. I test drove a '13 Laramie with the 6spd before I bought the Ford, interior is top notch on this redesign for sure.

The interior of the Limited is far beyond my 2010 Laramie. These aren't the "Leather Trimmed" seats that were in it. They are outstanding quality. The truck smells like a baseball glove. The black wood and chrome trim replaced by muted silver are perfect to me. My '10 had the tan interior and I thought it was the best there could ever be in a truck until I saw this one. Even the floor mats are crazy nice. They look like they're made with berber carpet and have some nice deep grooves for catching stuff.

Ah I meant 3.21's. Either way, you got yourself a fine truck. I LOVE the limited gauge cluster. Almost makes me want to hunt one down

DAMN!!! That is a NICE truck!! Holy Cow! I'm Jealous. No way I could ever get black though. I live on a ranch, with a 1 mile dirt road each way. White is the only color that would hold up. lol

I'm done with black, personally. Had a black 05 Rumble Bee and a 2012 R/T. My Sport is now white lol. Black looks soooo good clean though....

Yeah the seats that were in the Laramie I test drove were much better than the ones in my 09. After I got back in mine it was like going from a fine leather chair to grandma's plastic wrapped sofa, lol. Even the feel of the steering wheel was better IMO. The upper level Ram's have the best interior of any truck out there today.
