I got this truck about a week ago. I have a few questions about it. I will just bullet point them below.

Oil Change. I've always done my own oil changes and the dealer said thats fine but keep the bills. I plan on going Syn oil. Right now the truck has 1300km on it. Yea I'm Canadian. Should I change it now or just wait until 5000km? I've always bought used cars so I'm trying to break this one in the right way.

Now this ECO thing. I have yet to push the truck passed 3000RPM. I'm taking it pretty easy. I owed a 300c so I got the whole Hemi power thing out of my system. When I fill up, the range says 700km. Yea right. I'm getting about 16.4L to 100km. My first full tank got about 610km. I pushed it almost to empty. For me, I can live with that. I'm going 100km or 60mph i guess all the way to work with 2 or 3 stop lights. When the truck breaks in, will it get better or worse on gas?

I got the truck oil sprayed underneath. I was told by a few people its a good idea to get in sprayed again after a few months has passed. I can't see it hurting but has anyone else done that?

Should I get a catch can. I had one on the 300c and it caught a lot of oil. Anyone else have one?

Floor mats.... Weather Tech or Husky?

I'm looking for a soft cover for the bed (Tri fold). The ones I've seen dont fully come to the sides. There's like an inch or 2 space on each side. Does anyone have one that covers everything?

I'm only a week into this truck so I'm sure I will have more questions but thats all I have.

hello fellow canadian being winter your milage is about right. it will get better with age. 1300km time to stop babying that engine and open her up once its at full operating temp its good for breaking it in. start with some wide open throttles at about 80km up to about 100kms and go from there u wont hurt it just make sure its good and warm, temp guage in the middle and it will be fine. if u read the manual it talks about this being beneficial for break in. i have husky liners and i like them ive never had the weathertec ones.if u can afford it the bak flip is the nicest cover ive seen imo but there about a grand. gl
