2014 Ram Looking To Upragde Radio

I have a 2014 ram tradesman It has the factory backup cam with the TINY screen so its kind of useless when backing up to my trailer cant see it. I am looking to swap it for a aftermarket setup with abdroid I see tons of these but they all have mixed reviews.

I am looking for suggestions what have you guys upgraded your tiny ass screen with lol.

I did the 8.4 upgrade, bought from car-parts.com and harness from M²Mods. You could investigate at crutchfield.com, they are pretty good to work with and will help you design an upgraded system.

I'm with you man, 1000 dollars to "upgrade" to 7 year old stock parts isn't what I am looking for

Only suggested it as it is tried and true, lots of support here for OEM versus aftermarket units and saw that you made mention of mixed reviews. I did mine with harness for a touch over $500 and it does everything I need. But good luck, hope you find the perfect one for your needs.

I will look into it trying to keep it around 500 or less for sure.

When I budgeted it all out, it was 200 for the bezel, 300 for the radio and 500 for the conversion harness and related hardware
