I did the 8.4 upgrade, bought from car-parts.com and harness from M²Mods. You could investigate at crutchfield.com, they are pretty good to work with and will help you design an upgraded system.

I'm with you man, 1000 dollars to "upgrade" to 7 year old stock parts isn't what I am looking for

Only suggested it as it is tried and true, lots of support here for OEM versus aftermarket units and saw that you made mention of mixed reviews. I did mine with harness for a touch over $500 and it does everything I need. But good luck, hope you find the perfect one for your needs.

I will look into it trying to keep it around 500 or less for sure.

When I budgeted it all out, it was 200 for the bezel, 300 for the radio and 500 for the conversion harness and related hardware


If you do go with the one you posted, let me know how the navigation works, and if you can use it off line
