2026 RAM 1500 Uconnect to Car Play FIXED

Howdy, got a RAM Tungsten on March 23rd this year absolutely LOVE the truck, EXCEPT that I use Apple Car Play for everything. The Uconnect 5 to phone connect failures are all over the net. One day the truck would connect, next day nothing, fight reconnection problems, putz around for 15 minutes. Finally was looking on line to see if there were any fixes. Found this, and it WORKS. It is very small, plugs right into the UBS A port (has a UBS C adapter). Took a couple of tries due to me wanting to just fire it up, but after I slowed down and read them, fired up. Now, jump in the truck and everything works. Cannot imagine that Dodge cannot have a blue tooth connection that is stable in 2026, old news. For now, it works, and I am happy.

Got my CarPlay wireless dongle today and I have to say it works very well so far. Wish the wireless charger in my 19 Laramie Longhorn wasn’t garbage. The phone charges initially but after about 2 minutes the charging light goes from blue to flashing red.
