I'm new here and did a little searching but didn't find much.

Okay so it appears that this truck is one of the hardest on the planet to put HIDs in.

What all do I need to convert from stock reflector headlights to bi-xeon HIDs?
I can just use factory headlights and install some projectors, proper wiring, etc....????

Reflector fogs to projector HIDs?

Has anyone done this?

Photos?

If you have reflector housings I'd suggest looking into LED replacement bulbs as a cost effective option. The projector housings with HID retrofit kit aren't cheap and I'm not sure they offer a huge benefit over new LED options.

I went with the Opt7 LED replacement bulbs for my Ram and I prefer that setup to my HID projectors on a different vehicle. Not apples to apples but it's enough for me when you're talking $100 vs. $1200.

If you plan on adding projectors to your quad headlights you obviously need some mini H1 projectors, bulbs, ballasts, relay harness and some butyl to reseal the headlights. Retroshop can give you all you need and great customer service.

You will have to either bake them in the oven or use a heat gun to soften the factory glue/butyl seal and pry them apart. Once inside you thread the projector to the factory bulb hole (some cutting may be required), align the projector and bolt it down. Similar process for fogs but you can fit a micro H1 projector. Relay harness is a must and you will need a separate relay for the headlights and fogs what what I understand. You will also probably need a high-beam splitter cable or something that doesn't turn off your fogs when you put on the high-beams.
