I would have removed it when I sold the truck but couldn’t find the original so I had to let it go with the truck

how hard is it to install the radio? I am not great with these things?

Took only 5 min to install totally plug and play. There is a few other items you need to buy if you want it to be perfect. Like a 911 bypass plug. I never bought it because the warning didn’t bother my.
And the correct bezel but I prefer the A/C on the 5” bezel. there is detailed instructions on this site I just don’t know how to find them and post link from my phone

I had a factory backup and yes it was plug and play.

looks like the steering wheels are around $125 to $150. that puts the project a little out of my price range.

There are some differences between the install of a 14+ 1500 (7 speed fan) and 13+ 2500/3500 (4 speed fan), but the radio is the same for the 13-17 trucks
