Any one have an issue with the airbag light on? I can click my safety belt, but the safety belt buzzer stays on driving me crazy. Has anyone ran in to this issue? Bags, have not deployed, and the seat belt can click and I click like it was desigNed. Just the horrible buzzer won’t go off. Any help would be appreciated.2016 ram tradesman. Eco diesel 4 door. It’s the driver side seat belt.

did it just start randomly or have you done anything to the truck recently? A bad clockspring can cause the airbag light to come on...not sure about the buzzer though

Glad I stumbled upon this, I’m having a slightly similar issue; unfortunately, while on a roadtrip with my family for the holidays. 2015 Ram 2500 Tradesman. Mine is intermittently flashing the SRS light when the seatbelt indicator comes on while driving and I hit a bump or adjust my position on the seat cushion. I have tried to duplicate it while parked, but can only get the seatbelt indicator to flicker. I found when jockeying the harness for the seatbelt buckle I can get the seatbelt lamp to go on and off. And while driving if I reach my hand down and grab the harness it causes the SRS and seatbelt indicator to come on and off. I am suspicious it’s going to come down to the seatbelt switch being the root cause, but without some wiring diagrams I’m not 100% sure. There are two SRS plugs under the driver seat (yellow connector body) as well as a few grey plugs, I have unplugged and checked for corrosion and reseated everything. I’m going to try and dissect further once I get back home and have better access to tools and wiring diagrams. I’ll keep ya posted if I find a solution.

I am large around the waist, if i put on a coat, i have some trouble buckling up, also, if i am only moving say a couple of feet, i don't buckle up.
I bought a pair of seat belt extenders, got the discount
they are very short

Sounds like the buckle receiver might need to be replaced if it flashes when you wiggle it around. If the belt is buckled, it should not flash at all...

Well dealer says I need to replace the 68316929, and the 68088821. Seat belt sensor and left side squid. Anybody ever do that?

Somewhat related, there is a way to disable the seat belt chime completely if you google it. When the seat belt is unbuckled, only the light turns on, it's incredible.

Order AlfaOBD, I have mine turned off, although you will still get a reminder on your dash, but chime is gone

Check the connectors under the seat, unplug and replug...you'd be surprised what that will do

There is a 'secret code' sequence to do this without Alfa, turn on the ignition, and latch and unlatch the seatbelt 3 times within 30 seconds ...if I remember correctly

Pretty sure that’s what I remember ,though it’s been around 10 years.

Get in the truck and close the door .
Fasten the seatbelt .
Turn the ignition key: to the "Run" position (the second click) without starting the engine.
Wait for the system to boot up: and the seatbelt warning light to turn off.
Unbuckle and rebuckle the seatbelt three times: at a moderate speed, leaving the seatbelt unbuckled after the third time.
Turn the ignition off. Complete this sequence in 60 seconds or less.
