I was browsing ram build and price for 2016 ram 1500 and noticed deep cherry is gone. Seems its replaced by agricultural red. Anyone have any pics of ram in this color? Just wanted to see the difference...

Agricultural red, sounds about as Sexy as John Deer Green.

Our local dealer has 60 or so 2016 rams, none of them are the color upgraded models. I think you would have to factory order that truck unless you get lucky.

I have read that sometime in November that there will be a couple additional colors available for the Ram trucks. I think one is a white pearl color and the other is some sort of pearl red, but a different shade than the previous red colors.

Anybody know when the Black Clearcoat will be released from restriction?
I am soon going to be ordering a Big Horn and I want the basic black, even though it is now a $400 option over the Brilliant Black.
I can't understand why plain black paint cost more than the metallic. At times depending on the light, Brilliant Black looks like the Steel Gray Metallic. I just don't like metallic black paint.

Not a clue. My dealer had no idea why or for how long it would be when he called me to tell me it was on restriction.

I just switched to Brilliant Black, but I would have been as happy with my other second choices (Timberline Green, Robin's Egg Blue, Deep Cherry or whatever took its place).

thankfully my newest acquisition is the lovely upgraded red mentioned, when I get it home Monday afternoon I will be applying its first coat of polish, one of many for sure.

Basic black is a color that should never go away.
It has been on restriction for over 3 weeks. I can't wait much longer. Like you I guess go with the Brilliant Black. Problem is, then I have to get the flares painted again that I had on my black '14 Ram. Cost wise is the same, but I like plain black a whole lot better.

That color is 450 bucks more.. I doubt any dealer is going to just have it sitting around. If you look at the build page for the big horn there are some pretty crazy colors now, and as always the page is not accurate, there's a super bright lime green and yellow now. If they want to experiment they should do things like oh I don't know, maybe put a ******* 392 in the R/T??

I am trying to order the truck. I know there are none around in that color. I am willing to pay the extra $$ to get it.
If I have to get my flares painted Brilliant Black, that will cost me 3 - 400 so it is a break even.
I am really trying to avoid the black metallic if possible.

I was bummed that Western Brown is no longer available in the 2500 Laramie and Longhorn.
