Ok guy I tried the search function and did not find a match. I have a 2016 Ram Big Horn with a factory tow package. All of the lights used to work but now just the running lights have stopped working. I looked at all of the fuses and tested the plug. I am not getting power to the running light pin. I removed the plug and found no connection issues. Any help is appreciated.

There 6 separate fuses for the 7 pin plug, double check fuse F29 for the running/park lights. Some people have reported that the FFM fuses look fine but they're actually bad.

Also check the trailer wiring and your trailer plug as fuses don’t blow for no reason

Crazy, I had the same problem, found the wire for the trailer running lights chaffed thru. The location you would want to check is behind the left front wheel well liner.

There are 2 connectors a 30 + wire connector and a 4 wire connector, you want the 4 wire connector. Check the wire where it runs across the left front cab mount, that is where mine chaffed thru

My trailer running/ mark lights are also often without power.
Will have to check the fuse #29 also.

What is the solution? Replacing the fuse?

I see they still are having issues with the trailer wiring harness on Ram trucks. My wife had a 2003 2500 that had all trailer lights except the left turn light. Dealer couldn't find it, I discovered someone had bypassed the harness in an attempt to make it work.

The solution? They put a Ford PCM in it with a specialty reflash. Trailer wiring issues went away.

That said, it definitely sounds like if this is happening on more than one trailer, you've got a short/broken wire somewhere. You'll want to check from the plug all the way back to the PCM.

Can you access it from the inside of the cab? Or do you have to remove the wheel liner etc....?

I have the same problem with no power to fuse #29.
Check for power going to the fuse with the parking lights on. The power is distributed to the internal relays for the trailer lights then go-to the fuses, this is for all of the trailer pin outputs.

I have the same issue, left running light on trailer nor working tracked down to the F53 fuse. Replaced fuse and it blew again shortly after. Found the left trailer light assembly light socket allowed the light pigtail to move and break contact. This issue didn't exist until I replaced the incandescent bulbs with Bargmans LED conversion. Got a new base light and all is well again.
