Looking for any help available. My truck is off the road until I can figure this out. The smell in the cab is so bad I can't drive it.
Bought the truck used about a year ago. Put a couple thousand miles on it. Up around 60k at this point. Previous history that I can speak to. I did a tune up when I got the truck. New plugs, air filter, oil and filter ,All added a cabin air filter. All done when I first got the truck.
Seemingly out of nowhere I started getting a smell of either raw fuel or partially burnt exhaust in the cab. No check engine lights. Truck runs fine. Checked for any vacuum leaks, bad connections, etc and can't find anything.
Ran my scanner and found a 'historic fault' P0443 evap circuit.
So I read around a bit and tackled the easiest two items I found. The purge solenoid and the leak detection pump. Replaced both with OEM and problem persists.
Can anyone guide me towards a fix? My truck has been parked for a few days and I'm starting to miss it.
