Hey All,
Have a 2018 Ram 1500 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel - On April 15, 2022 my passenger side rear tire stopped working and would not communicate a tire pressure reading. I took my RAM to Discount Tire, they advised to buy a new sensor. So I purchased a new sensor $70 bucks and they installed it.
After installation, they said drive for a day or so and it should pair on its own to the RAM.
4 weeks later - May 15, 2022 the sensor still has not paired. I went to a secondary discount tire location, where they replaced the sensor again on 06/12/22. They said the same thing, drive for a day and it should pair on its own. It is now its 6/14/22 two days later and still the tire sensor is not communicating with the RAM.
I have read on this Forum elsewhere about the module under the front of the truck. ( Additional details - 3 out of the 4 sensors are working properly and remain working).
Should I take it back to Discount Tire again or have someone else look at it ? [ Sort of annoyed at Discount Tire - feel as if they are not aware of how to actually solve my problem. ]
Truly appreciate the feedback and advise.
