Plus don't forget the fact that you have to remove your heat shield from underneath your hood, so you're stuck with looking at all the bracing under the hood, and risk over time the heat from the engine rising and screwing up your paint on your hood. So yeah I would say that's not worth it to me.

Where am I stuck at looking at all the bracing?

I was waiting for you to say you talked to ( ..... ) which tells me you have no real world experience with this product but again thank you for your opinion about a product you merely "talked" about.

Correct, because it's a waste of money, therefore I did not spend my money on it. Show me the Dyno where it's better.

Both the Vararam and S&B can be bought from Moe's or Gotexhaust on here. Both are vendors. Send them a pm for pricing.

Vararam pulls air straight from the from of the truck through the grill. It's more of a ram air system, so the faster you go, the more air gets shoved in there. That's what I have and love it!

The S&B pulls air from around the same as the stock box, but there's an additional piece you can buy that drops a tube down lower to pull air from under the truck.

The factory air box, no matter what you do to it, still pulls hot air from the fender with all the twist and turns. Even eliminating that portion, you pulling hot air from the engine. The other two are forcing air into it not giving it time to"suck".

Yeah well the sticker on my S & B CAI is better then the stickers on both your Mopar and VR intakes so...I know I’m making more HP!!!

It's just simple facts.

If you have a vararam and don't like how it fits posts up

If you have S&B and not happy with that product share why.

Technically any mod is a waste of money in someone's eyes.

The point is because you talked with so and so about a product you haven't used and your relaying info like it's first hand feedback is asinine. That's all.

Not everyone has to try a product just to verify it does or doesn't work

Well you got me there. I don't have a sticker on my truck, so I'm not getting the full potential out of mine. :D

Yes it is because if someone was to post a new question about functional scoops. The answer is have you done a search. Search for it etc. Then ones a member search for it and pull it up, someone comes up with the 2year dig crap. So tell me what the hell do you prefer.

Anyways... if you like the hood, even if it’s just for looks, then that’s worth it. I have the optional factory fake vents in my sport hood and I think it looks great! I have an S&B cai because I think it looks and sounds awesome! I read posts from all those who say they suck and sound bad and drone... don’t care.
Don’t mind the haters, make the truck what you want it to be.
I’m glad I took that motivational speaking class all those years back. Really paid off just now!
