Hello all, owner of a 18 Ram with a vibration issues that comes and goes and higher speeds. Truck has new tires that have been rebalanced and checked for bent rims. Both CV shafts have been replaced more than usual I feel. Especially the passenger side. And each time it’s helped. Driveline has been checked and that checked out good. Truck has 180k and has to last me another year. Kinda stumped with it. Any help appreciated. It’s a Hemi and 4WD too. Thanks.

If it was there before the new tires, very good chance it’s the new tires. Had this before, make them take the wheels off and reposition the tire on the rim and rebalance. Start with the wheels with the most weight. If that doesn’t work, could be a bad tire with belts that are out of alignment. Had that happen before. You should have some sort of warranty on new tires.

Find a tire shop that does Roadforce balancing. I think it’s a Firestone thing ,but I may be mistaken.

This puts a load on the tire while balancing. Lots here have reported positive results.

Check out chassis scopes on Amazon , they have them for about $50 us.
These should help to pin point that noise that is difficult to locate.
I have no first hand experience, but have seen success with them.
The next time I have an issue, I plan on purchasing one. It looks like it could be interesting testing things with this.
I’m not sure if this would help with your situation, but it might.
