2019 Bed Steps

I am trying to decide on which bed step to add to the 2019 I just bought.

I looked on the Mopar site and came up with a back ordered part number.

This is an option I really need. The step up with 22 inch wheels is more than I want to make without some additional help. I know I could bungee in a step stool, but the bumper step looks like all I need.

What other options fit a 2019?

Mehgyver, you are correct. It is for the classic not the new body style. Cancelled the order.

Any idea why are these not available? Especially from Mopar...

honestly Im somewhat surprised there arent any listed for the gen 5, its been out for a while now. You could try reaching out to lund or amp or whoever your vendor of choice is via email and see when they expect them to be released.

Yeah that is surprising, been over a year now since the 5th gen has been out right?

I wonder what the difference is! They mount to the bumper frame area ? Bummer no 2019's yet ! Bestop only goes to 2018 :O Never mind looks like just for the classic

I ordered this one for my 2019 non-classic. Part number 82215289ab.

Ordered 3/24, shipped 3/27. Installed perfectly, no fitment issues.

I spoke to the local parts department According to him there seems to have been a problem with the original release of the assembly and they are fixing the problem. He seemed to think he may be getting something in around May 18th.

Interesting situation since it seems to be offered as an option.

I received factory step yesterday. Ordered last July. Been in remanufacturing/engineering because of a wire hanger the older version interfered with. Silly because the wire can be resecured with a wire tie after installing step. The only issue on instalation is the limited space using 1/2 ratchet/breaker bar. Torque is 125 ftlb

ram in Canada lists the step for a 2019 sport as a $50 option on a factory order
