I just wanted to post this to help some people out because I had this issue and the fix I found NOwhere on any forum. My 12” u connect intermittently was not waking up. So that meant no HVAC control, the truck didn’t know what time it was and of course no radio or sound of course. Every now and then it would wake up but the back up cam was magically gone and the passenger side seat heat and vent controls were missing from the screen and it was short lived. the screen would shut off in like 5 mins. I’ll cut to the chase the fix was a loose connection at the battery but not where you think! The loose connection was under the red plastic cover on the positive terminal! For whatever reason mine was loose and showed corrosion because it had not been touched or check in so long. Hoping this helps someone like me who looked high and low and tore the dash apart trying to figure this out and the fix was quite simple, it was right under my nose, it was just out of sight. Also good information for the community to know that obviously this cable is what powers the infotainment center and not much else because everything else on my truck worked! Drove fine, no DTCs. I dropped a picture below hope this helps! IMG_4200.png
