My 2019 RAM 3500 Diesel got an engine light at about 20K miles (P0299 Under boost). Also has had a slight surge since it was new. Dodge had flashed my truck with an update a couple weeks before which had no effect on the surging. Brought it in and was told the engine light, and the surge are due to a software issue and Chrysler is working to resolve it. They can't clear the engine light which keeps the auto start from working. Hope they have a fix before winter hits Fairbanks Alaska. Anyone else having this issue?

I am curious about your surging issues and if they are the same as mine. Off idle my truck is really jerky. it is very noticable when trying to navigate dirt roads at slow speeds. Off idle the truck will jump 400 rpms with the slightest touch. I haven't had any codes. I will bring this issue up with the dealer this week. I tried calibrating the TPS with no effect. I think one of the best lies a dealer can tell you is "they are working on it"

My surge is not as extreme. Just noticeable while accelerating, or going up a grade. Chrysler had a Star Online Publication (Case # S2018000008) on my issue. I called the Mopar tech connect line yesterday and they still don't have an ETA on when a fix will be done. Considering the fact that this issue also has EPA ramifications Chrysler may need to place some priority on it.

i have 2019 3500 And it has the same issues I ended up calling Dodge support and spoke with a gentleman and within one week my local Dodge dealer called me up had me bring it back and had a specialist come in and flash my computer and fix the problem but it took me a call to Dodge to get it fixed because I bought this in Kentucky and I live in Tennessee my local dealer did everything they could and that was with less than 7000 miles at 12,000 miles I had have six brand-new tires called the Dodge support again and within two weeks they issued me six brand-new tires at no cost to me

And I still have his phone number If you need it how I don't mind given It out hit me up
