Hi All, I'm new here. Did a search and couldn't find a solid answer. I have a 2020 1500 Classic Warlock with manual seats. I'd like to upgrade to power seats and was wondering about the pre-wired harnesses under the seat. Anyone know if they are plug and play if I pick up a set of 4th gen power seats? If not, what modification would I need to do? Thanks for any info you all have.

They are plug and play BUT you must run a 12v power wire to the seat.

Wow what a coincidence. Thanks SitKneelBend. Just preping for hip surgery and got a 2017 power seat to swap the 2021 Ram Classic Warlock manual seat. Not an electronics guy. Just wondering if this seat they sold me was a plug and play before i tore the seat out and tried to install the power one. So a straight plug and play but needs a power 12v to the seat. Can you help with where you run the power from ( I assume you need a fuse ..a 10 or 20..) and what and how the power wire is attached to...any help is much appreciated..The Stearership won't even look at doing this..nice eh?

@Mpgrimm2 made mine for me and showed me where to wire into with very professional and detailed instructions to get it working like it came from the factory that way. It was pretty straight forward and you just add a PIN to the factory harness under your current seat (the corresponding plug will already be on your new seat). I don't see the option on his site (https://www.m2mods4ram.com/4th-gen-ram-radio-upgrade) so I'm not sure if he has that as an offering, but if he has the parts he might sell you one (but he's on leave for the holidays right now).

One thing you can do which I did is instead of taking the seat covers off I removed the upholstery completely (cushion and all) from one seat onto the power seat so everything matched. I also swapped the airbag from one seat to another (not necessary but just felt better having the airbag that came with my truck).
