What is the trick to get the cover off? I removed the 2 screws on the bottom and gave it a good yank.
The screws were almost completely chewed through the plastic cover from being overtightened. I have a 2025 bought new with absolutely no problems. Great truck!
Brand new truck, why removing? You wanna switch out the power/acc option on dash 12V? Remember, the 2025's and beyond are using a new Electrical architecture called Atlantic. NE thing we tell you based on model year 2024 and earlier may/may not be applicable to a 2025. Just thinking outta da box.

Fuses blow on new trucks too. Now I know 7mm screws need to be removed to gain access. Also glad I tried the toy jack - not as straightforward as you would think. Stuff seems to happen at the worst possible time and place. Good to be prepared.

Yeah, simplest way to power my dashcam is from the cigarette lighter. Be nice if it shut off with the truck. My manual implies it can be done. I just need to pop the cover to confirm.

Thank you for your service.

Only thing I know is wat read/research especially with the new architecture. Since I got a ‘19. Kid has a 25 but he is 1800 miles away. If U tow there are reported issues ref trailer lighting. New systems not set up for older lighting just LED. If U tow something to check and confirm.

This is for the cigarette lighter. I have a 2025 base model Big Horn. See page from owner's manual in my previous post.
Remove the 2 7mm screws at the bottom. Cover has 7 clips. I started at the bottom right. It pulls straight out.
I also removed the steel plate behind it for better access. 4 7mm screws but phillips head too.
Move F54 20A yellow (bottom right) from left A to right B position.
Now my dashcam shuts off with the truck. Simplest way to connect it.

Looking at your pictures and the 2020 owners manual, the only driver selectable fuse I see is F54 (just below and to the right, yellow 20 amp). It's for one of the power outlets on the dash and you can choose whether to have it in the IGN or BATT position.
That's the one I just did and it is a LIFE SAVER... love having it now be IGN instead of BATT
I might actually put double fuse tap on it and make myself another cig outlet for some accessories

(even tho my truck says it has a power outlet, I cannot find it anywhere)

My book says i have an open F51A&B and a F15A&B I can also tap into (i'll look to make sure)
I suppose I can use one of the "add a circuit" taps and just 20amp the 'out' to whatever.
I might have some fun with these
