Hello, I'm new here but couldn't find my issue online so figured I would seek out guidance from this forum. I have a 2020 ram 1500 lone star night edition that I purchased new back in early 2020. I have recently gotten an intermittent problem with my interior dash, the screen, etc..it'll flicker while driving. It does it a couple of times and then usually goes back to normal (stays bright). It doesn't do it often but over the last month it has happened more than a handful of times. At first I thought it was when the auto lights come on when it starts to get dark, however the exterior lights don't ever change and it did it the other night when it was pitch black out. Does anyone happen to know what this might be? I apologize if it sounds confusing but that's basically what happens when the issue occurs. Thanks!

I noticed that with my auto headlights on my '21 2500, when I go through the trees up my driveway sometimes it flickers when the light is just right.

No it’s just the interior ones so I think it might have something to do with the scrolling button that adjusts the brightness on the interior. Idk though, hasn’t done it in a while

The dash lights have their own photocell for dimming. They aren’t synchronized with the headlights. They should dim when it gets dark enough inside the cab. If you pass through a brightly lit area they may brighten back up until you’re back in the dark. If they’re flickering off completely that’s a different issue. Could be the photocell going bad but I’d think that would be extremely rare. Or, you have a loose connection or the thumb wheel dimmer may be going bad.
