I have a 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel 5.7L v8 with a 26 gallon fuel tank. To solve the problem of visiting a gas station every 4 days, I'd like to swap this with the larger 32 gallon fuel tank. I've talked to my local guy at Firestone who says he's willing to take on this project.

From what I've researched, these are the potential parts I'd need, but I don't know for sure.

*** PARTS ***
TANK. Fuel.

68408875AF
[33 Gallon Fuel Tank].
Price: $ 184.80

STRAP. Fuel Tank.
52030458AB
Price: $ 26.54

HOSE. Filter to Canister.
52029909AC
Price: $ 17.58

HOSE. Purge.
52029908AB
Price: $ 49.45

For those of you familiar with this swap, are all of these parts needed?
Are any of these parts not needed?
Are any other parts needed?

Could someone familiar with this swap briefly describe the work needed to be done?
(I'm tagging @horsewhisperer because I read a post that he may have done this too)

Many thanks in advance.

Was thinking to myself that is a lot of money to invest for a 6 gallon upgrade but it’s not my money. To save you a few bucks please keep in mind your old tank when it’s removed is worth a few bucks. Plenty of Ram 1500 4th gens that have issues with fueling due to bad rollover valves and faulty vent system. Your old tank may be used but for someone with a bad tank it may be worth some $$$

Where are you getting a 33 gallon gas tank for $185? Rock Auto has a 26 gallon tank for $600+!
