2020 ram 2500 clicking noise front left side of truck. When turned off

2500 6.7 when I turn off the truck it starts clicking front driver’s side clicks for like 8 seconds sounds like a solenoid of some kind. Any info will help thanks.

There was a thread on here that asked this same question. Mine does it too. The answer was that the DEF pump pushes the fluid back into the reservoir after shutdown.

There was a thread on here that asked this same question. Mine does it too. The answer was that the DEF pump pushes the fluid back into the reservoir after shutdown.

I always thought it was the EGR/throttle blade actuating. Seems kind of loud and high in the engine bay for the DEF pump.

On my truck I can here the noise the loudest on the drivers side, wish this computer would let me upload my iPhone 3gp recording I have of the noise...
