2021 tow mirrors - backwards compatible?

I've got a 2020 Laramie with power folding, heated mirrors with the 360 camera. When I bought the truck, getting the tow package with the camera wasn't an option.

Seems in 2021 it now works. Has anyone got insight if I can just buy the newer mirrors and replace my existing ones?

Goal is for 360 camera and manual fold out tow mirrors. Happy to lose the power fold and heated if needed.

i would think it should work you already have all the codes it should be plug and play. make sure you get the reinforcement brackets to handle the extra weight of the tow mirrors
