I have a 2022 1500 Classic Warlock 3.6L, less than 40k miles and I have a squeak coming from the front passenger side that I just cannot figure out. With how notorious rams are for ball joints, I started there (even though it didn't sound like a typical metal on metal squeak). Mine was a little loose, but nothing crazy. I replaced the control arm anyway. It was silent all of one day, but now we are back. Initially, the noise started slow, but it got worse by the week. I can get the distinctive squeak rocking the truck side to side, driving straight at any speed, and when making left turns. it does NOT squeak when making a right turn. If someone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

Have you checked the struts? The top mounting plate can squeak if not properly tightened to the body mount. If it’s more of a click than a squeak it could be the strut cartridge isn’t properly seated or tightened down inside the coil.

I checked before replacing the control arm and everything seemed okay. I plan on doing another once-over today or tomorrow. It is definitely a squeaking noise and not a click. I appreciate your help!!

I have the exact same squeak. At first I thought it was one of the brakes as they were recently replaced, but that doesn't seem to be it.... following this thread in hopes it may help me out too. For reference, Mine is a 2021 ram 1500 warlock 5.7L

I have a 2018 Sport with 7u0K miles and horrible noises from the front end. The boots on my ball joints are shot so definitely planning on replacing those. I am just wondering if I should do the struts at the same time. If you find a solution or cause, please share.

Well I finally took mine to my dealer since I have the extended warranty to see what they said. Much to my surprise they replaced both lower control arms, the sway bar, and both struts. The squeak is gone!
So it was either the struts or come to find out the previous owner installed a leveling kit that I didn't know about. Thank God for the warranty it took two different visits so over $5000 in parts and labor and rental vehicles all covered for $200 out of my pocket. Now I just need to decide if I want to reinstall the leveling kit. Dealer wouldn't do it because it's not factory. But if that was the cause of the sound then I'm good without them.
