We have a 2022 Rebel. 97k km on it. Bought it in 2023, had no issues until the last 6 months.
Randomly will not start. Won't take boost. So we get it towed. Use the orange strap to put in neutral to get it on tow truck. They take it to dealership, starts no issue. No error codes. No stored code. Whatever happens between it not starting, getting it in park to tow, resolves issue. This has happened 3 times at dealership and we get sent home with the truck. Cannot do anything to fix what they think issue may be because there are no codes, which is needed for the warranty work. These codes (not on purpose) have been weaponized and we cannot get any resolution. Last week, it did not start. I got it into neutral myself, rolled it back in driveway a little bit. Got is back in park and it started. Campbellford Chrysler has been amazing. They have kept it all week trying to replicate the issue, with no success. It has started every time. Seems to be a communication issue. The truck is in park, it just does not now it is in park it seems. Anyone has any thoughts?

***update***
Dodge dealership had the truck for a week trying to replicate the issues with no success. So I guess we are left with a truck that we paid 60k for, that we cross our fingers EVERYTME we need to start it. It has really changed things for us. We are avid campers and go places that tow trucks will not come to. We can no longer do that for obvious safety reasons. Really no point having it any more I suppose if no one can fix it

First say the engine, so you have the Cummins my guess.

Now what symptoms do you have on the dash, is everything lit on the dash when this happens?

I'd take phone video of this everytime you start truck until it happens again, then you have proof.
