2024 1500 Classic Warlock Crew w/ 5.7 Lots of questions

Got the truck last week... Looking at a few mods... Like a trailer brake controller, CAI, a pedal commander and a truck cap... probably a catch can.

She will be a grocery getter for the next couple years and then the hope is to start pulling a trailer as I go into pre-retirement

Questions
Is it a 4th Gen? really... OK
Does AlfaOBD work on it.. It doesn't list it
Is the ECM totally locked or can the security bypass be used
Anything else I should be looking for?

I have a 2012 bighorn that has 265K km ( 165k miles) that I can play with now as well.. It needs some TLC Being on the Atlantic the salt air is hard on the frame and the tailgate needs to be replaced..

I have a 2024 1500 classic Warlock (SLT). I have the factory trailer brake controller

I have a cap on the back, adds about 300 lbs.

I have security bypass cable installed. I've used alphaobd to change out mirrors, door modules and and do a few more things with LED lights.

I've replaced the headlight bulbs, license plate and backup light bulbs with LEDs.

The ECM is locked so nothing with the engine can be changed without performing an unlock install.

I have a catch can installed. I've installed air bags in the rear springs. And have a OEM mopar cold air box to install as soon as I take it off my 16 Laramie.

T h e 2024 classic is the same as previous 4th gens, just a different front end and a few cosmetic pieces.

Yes a '24 Classic is still a Gen4 truck and AlfaOBD does work on it but you'll need the security bypass.
The ECM is locked(has been since 2015) but AlfaOBD doesn't unlock the ECM, there is several companies that offer ECM unlocking to be able to tune the engine.
