So now that my 2023 order is going to be a 2024, I asked if I could get the 6'4" bed with 33 gal tank (what I originally wanted). I'm being told it's still not available. Can someone confirm that? Seems odd to me.

Ya... but I'm being told that the 6'4" bed is not available for order (still). This is for a Limited.

it's not even showing on restriction (shaded in red). When things are in restriction sometimes that slows them down a tad, but that's not even the case here.

Are you wanting a Rambox bed? Since the 5th gen Ram 1/2 ton redesign, 5.7’ has only been the bed length available. One of my least favorite things on my special ordered 2022 Longhorn is the shorter bed length. My previous 4 Rams all had the 6.5’ Rambox.

Is FWP what the dealer pays for the truck?
Closest representation, essentially.
FWP is what we pay when the truck leaves the plant - long before it gets on the lot.

Then after it is sold, the holdback comes back in as a credit. Yes, essentially dealer pays an interest free loan back to manufacturer to the tune of about 2.9% of MSRP value, for duration of transit and lot-time. Dealer pays for floorplan interest while it's on lot. There are various other incentives or $ that come back to the dealer based on different programs, volumes, contests, times of year, etc - but FWP minus holdback is the most direct way to look at cost on that particular vehicle.

I am sure my sales guy had a nice steak the day he sold me my factory ordered truck…didn’t really catch a break.

Aaron, Renae are great. I have worked with them on 2 trucks the last 24 months... Great Group at Mark Dodge...
My 3500 took 7 weeks from order to deliver and my 1500 only took 6 weeks from order to delivery... Make sure there are no restrictions. Helped I was getting Tradesman with gas engines... A lil lucky on shipping too but wow... How can you go anywhere else. No nonsense pricing...
Shout out to the logistics group too. Some confusion on my part but they were super patient and nice...

THANK YOU MARK DODGE!
