2024 Rebel rear proximity sensor

My rear proximity sensor is being triggered by my bike rack. Is there a way turn that sensor off?

My rear proximity sensor is being triggered by my bike rack. Is there a way turn that sensor off?

On the center console of your dash under the radio and climate controls you should have two rows of buttons. On mine it’s at the far right toward the passenger seat are two buttons that say PARK with a symbol that looks like (((( <—- that. One points forward and one points backward. Depress the backward one. It only disables the sensor until the next ignition cycle.
