2026 Laramie Connect issues-help!

I have a 2026 Laramie with 500 miles on it. Had it 2 weeks. The infotainment system is giving me fits. CarPlay will connect and then disconnect and won't connect again unless I do reset.
Screen says I have map updates when I turn car off, but I can't connect to wifi at all. It did when I first got the truck but won't anymore.
Most the time the screen will either stay in dark mode when it becomes light outside or only one widget will be light while others are dark.
Also system seems really slow.
Anyone have any ideas?

It's a UConnect system, so it's bound to be a PITA at some point.

Being new, I'd take it to the dealership and have them address it asap.
May be as simple as a quick update, or more involved where there is a more significant glitch to investigate.

the 2025 tungsten i had, it was never right. and consistently reading this forum for couple of months has confirmed i was not alone. PITA.

I just purchased a 2026 Laramie, this Uconnect BOX Error screen keep popping up. Took it to dealer they said a new update would be out 1Q 2026. Nothing yet, anybody else seeing this or being told something else? The other issue is when playing songs my system seems to fade out then back in pretty quick. Is it me or are others experiencing system issues?

First thing I would try is a soft reset. Push and hold the volume and channel selector buttons at the same time for about 10 secs. UConnect will reboot. See if that helps.

this screen shot you shared gives me a visceral anxiety reaction (not really but you get the point) .. saw that error message along with Wifi needs service hundreds of times over 5 months.
