OIL FILTER..... loose or fell completely off. This has happened to me, in other vehicles, twice. Gotta make sure those filters are tight............ ;)

Where have you seen they have an electric oil pump? First I've heard of that.

When they first launched I'd read they can continue to circulate oil (and coolant) through the turbos after shut down via an electric pump for cool down. Is that not the case? I know the "main" oil pump is a standard variable pump.

152 miles? i'd bring it back to the dealer and tell them i want a new truck.

I was tempted to look at the Tungstens, but, after reading the horror stories here, i'm glad i didn't.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, just that I’ve never heard of that before. I do know they have a pump that continues to circulate coolant for the turbos (as you stated).

I'm not saying I'm right, either. :D It's quite possible I misread, misremembered, or the thing I read was incorrect. Looking in to it further, it may very well just be the coolant.

Well after reading all of your trolling, non useful, holier then thou responses I am out of here! The only person who even got close to being helpful was DocWagon1776.

If you want to be helpful, ask the Junior OP what additional info you need to be of assistance. Don’t bark, and don’t respond with a condescending response. Oh and if one of you do that maybe there wouldn’t be a thread with 25 responses and only one possible constructive answer.

Depending on the parking lot he parked in. I’d say someone stole some parts. Thinking they were at the pick a part. lol More common than one might think. In the 90’s my buddy came out of the mall & someone had almost got his transmission out of his 78 ford work truck. Driveshaft was out crossmember & shift linkage.

I once went on holiday out of Gatwick Airport in 80’s. Came back to find my drivers door still locked but my drivers SEAT stolen! How????????in a supposedly manned car park.
It was a relatively rare sports car. Reliant Scimitar. I had to swop passenger seat in, wife sat in back all the way home. I seem to remember I couldn’t actually bolt it to the floor lol, but better than an orange crate

Well, if he was going to the dealer, why bother asking a question containing no information here??
It is possible the comment had no intention other than establishing another bad Ram story.

I stayed out of this useless thread till this post. All I can say is this will be zero loss to the forum. Trolls and people too stupid to post enough info to work with will never be contributors. So long, goodbye, adios, arivadourchi, et all. Take a long walk off a short pier putzr.

That's pointless as the turbos are oil and coolant fed and the cooling of the fluids will cause them to cycle on their own.

There's no need for this on any turbo these days. Unless you go from flat out full load full boost to off you don't need a cool down period for the turbo. The fluids keep them cool enough that you can just shut them off and go about your day. if they did install this it would be a pointless piece of equipment and should be removed. Or programmed in a way it pumps oil and gets pressure up before the engine cranks to start

On to the original topic. You should have seen my hemi I started it and it just started sucking all of the oil out of the world around me. Streams of oil being sucked out of cars and buses, people just being sucked dry as their fats escaped their bodies, plastics melting and turning back into oil and being absorbed. Sure, I have a cell phone with a camera that takes photos that were unbelievable compared to 10 years ago but why would I get photo proof.

I was looking forward to hearing what caused the oil leak.
...if there really was an oil leak.

It’s in the realm of possibility.
