2500 Steering wheel into 1500?

So if I were to put a 1500 wheel in my 2500 I definitely need to swap out the cruise control buttons? Will the gear +/- work with 2500 you think?

I have a heated leather wheel from a 2500 that Im putting into my 1500. If you want to swap switches hit me up on PM.

My 2500 wheel has the blank insert looking thing where the Gear +/- buttons would be on a 1500, but I could use the Gear +/- buttons since its going into my 1500 that already has them.
