Ok My stock tires are officially plugged and patched too much for my liking. and it couldnt come at a worse time so im trying to be frugal. I see that Discount tire has Cooper Zeon Ltz's 275/55R20's for $187/tire. which is quite a savings over the same tire in stock height. I run a 2010 Ram sport 4x4 and want to know first of all. What will happen to my mileage going down in diameter? more revolutions to make a mile will my engine work harder? i have a 3.92 LSD and how will that be effected? and has anyone done it and does it make the truck look dumb with a smaller tire?

Zeon LTZs are a good tire.

A 275/55R20 is only marginally smaller than the stock 275/60R20.
It will be a visible reduction in overall size.

If you do a lot of highway driving, you might see a touch of a MPG drop, but I personally think that the reduction in rotational inertia from a smaller tire might actually help ya.

If you do a lot of city driving, I think a smaller tire will only help you.

Does it look 'dumb' well... I think the 275/60s look dumb on a 4x4, so... there's that.
