My mpg dropped 2.5-3 wih my setup being 8" lift 37x13.50 nitto trails and 4.10s with my 2500 6.4L if you think 3.55s are okay then you would be amazed with 4.10s. I honestly don't mind the 4.10s but it truly needs 4.56s to be back to stock performance wise. Again 3k for just gears is hard to swallow, I'm with ya on that one!

Don't get me wrong I'm not gunna be winning to many races with the 37's but for most people it would be more then alright to have as a dd. but some day I'll have 4.56's long tubes a stall and a supercharger but until then I can run it and be happy. Unless I find a nice cummins and can sell my truck

Call me a Pessimist, but I'm thinkin 37's with 3.55's would be a fat hog. Idk. I was too gunshy to pull the trigger on 37's and I have the 3.92's with the 8 speed. I read somewhere that having the 8 speed changes your gearing. Not mechanically changes it but 1st gear equates to having something in the high 4's for your axle ratio. I'm no engineer or mechanic but I hope you get the jist of what i'm saying. If you have the 8 speed maybe it's not too bad. But with the 6 speed I'd think it was similar to the old ford triton v8 lol

Do you have the 6 or 8 spd? That's a pretty important piece of info. I'm guessing 6 since you have 3.55s but if it is 8 then that is why it still runs pretty good.

I can't really say I'm too surprised that you still find it to be pretty powerful. I had an 84 Chevy with a stock 350 (probably low 200 hp) with 3.08 gears and 35s. Even that truck could move pretty good and smoke a tire leaving a stoplight. I don't see why a 390/400 Hemi with 3.55s wouldn't get the job done on 37s. I guess the problem is everyone has gotten used to or is young enough to only have driven with the power levels we have now in stock form. Your truck probably runs better with 37s than that old 84 Chevy did with stock tires. That being said, keep saving for those gears to revive the beast or at least you'll have a down payment saved if you come across something else in the future.

Oh, truck looks good.

It should matter , because his calculated MPG of 12.1 is calculated off his odometer reading and his odometer without being corrected with a tuner thinks he has stock tires that measure 32.5" , as opposed to the 37s... therefore he is traveling farther ( more miles ) than the recorded miles on the odometer. If he has not corrected it I'd say actual for that tank is + .75 to +1.25 MPGs . Totally a guess on my part . It could be easily calculated if I new the total inches traveled of the stock tire and the 37" tire .

I have 3.55 gears with 37's an 20x12 -44 fuel maverick rims. I have a tuner and my tires are set to my speedo. I average 12 mpg and on the hwy I get between 15-17 mpg. Just depends on my foot.

No it's not calibrated so it's actually about 13 ish but I also had a half hour of 4x4 low pulling my friends out of a swamped corn field so i didn't loose to much mpg just some power but still more then enough to get me around just fine

Well I've had my trinity t1000 for about3 weeks now and it's sure dose help proformance. I was pulling into a highway and one of my friends thought he'd be smart and pass me once he was next to me I said screw it gotta at least try to beat him. (He has a Chevy rally 4 door) well we were doing about 35 when this happens and he pulled about 2 truck legths on me then I actually started catching back up with him until the turn came I had to back out 37's Ain't to great in turns but I was quite suprized
