so im a HEMI orphan.. I had 3 RAM 1500s prior to my current 2025 and i swore on those trucks (all 5.7s) they were the best trucks ive ever owned hands down.. my 2022 was literally perfect.. its lease expired and I got a new 2025 (I use them in my business so new lease every 3 years).. its a Bighorn with a couple extra packages that give it some nice laramie style features and I love its features.. but the drivetrain is awful in this thing..

I get a nasty throttle delay.. the dealer says the truck is fine.. I originally had issues with the cylinder misfire codes on cold days.. it was in the shop 3 or 4 times for that then they fixed that issue with software..

I can be rolling down the road on the freeway.. light throttle or no throttle as i try to match traffic to make a lane move.. then ill hit the gas only to find the truck waits 2 seconds.. sometimes 3 before even trying to move... I live in a busy city.. that pretty much means my chance to merge is now gone..

ive tried different drive modes.. even in "sport" it still has the delay it just seems to rev higher before it shifts..

its annoying and dangerous.. i never dealt with this in my HEMI trucks ever.. they would scoot and right away when I tagged the go pedal..

is there a device or tuner I can buy that will make this better without ruining my factory warranty? really sad how much other areas of quality went down hill since my 22 as well.. i want to love this truck but dang the drivetrain is making it hard.. not to mention a delay in even mundane things such as the power windows and the start button I sometimes have to press twice to get the truck to actually start and not just go to 'On'
