I have a 2014 ram 1500 3.6L pentistar
It has 180,000+ miles.
Driving home from work yesterday it started hesitating going down the highway.
Check engine light came on and flashed and stayed on. Had no acceleration.
It stayed that way for about 15 miles . Then it cleared up. Went right to my friends shop and left it running and he hooked up his scanner. The codes were one for #4 cylinder fuel injector and another code for #4 cylinder ignition. We reset everything and now it is fine
Was this a freaky incident or signs of something to come?
Could it be cool pack going bad?
I do maintenance regularly on truck. Mechanically it's been great

What was the exact code or codes for the fuel injector?

Really odd to have simultaneous problems with an ignition coil and injector for the same cylinder.

I'd keep watching for pending codes and hopefully catch what's happening when it's happening.
