What do you guys think about 303? I think its good stuff. Guys used to rave about it on the Corvette Forum when my wife had one. Its been awhile since I've used it because I haven't had a vehicle worth the detailing time until now, but it always worked well on the Vette. Anyone else try this stuff recently or have some other good interior stuff they would recommend?

It's good stuff but it's hydrophobic and doesn't repel water. Check out Adams Super VRT! It is silicon, and alcohol free like 303 and an SPF 35, but it repels water like a sumbitch. Water beads when you apply a thin layer of SVRT to you exterior trim. Goal is to remember less is more! ;)

FYI, Adams is a vendor here and has a 10% off coupon code!

Best way to buy from them is daily and holiday specials, and use your coupon code. They had 5 dollar flat rate shipping the other day so I bought some gallons. I always buy product in gallons because it's cheaper.

I can't argue anything Chewy said, but unless you drive a Jeep you need to hose out, I don't care if its hydrophobic.
303 is the best commercially available stuff you can find. Nothing else on the shelves has its availability, UV protection and satin finish.

303 is good until it rains or you wash the car. Then you have to do it all over again.

I never used it on the exterior only interior applications.

Why would you use on the exterior? I've never heard of anyone using it that way. To me, that's like saying gasoline is great until you need to change your oil lol

+ 1 on 303. Best stuff I've found so far. Check the professional detailer sites for more recommendations on 303.

So 303 is hydrophilic, while Adams is hydrophobic.

Wait! You guys don't use a dressing on your exterior rubbers and plastics?

Ok...

On my interior I use Adams Leather Conditioner which has an SPF of 60 and nourishes leather and vinyl. Also silicon and alcohol free. Also smells like leather.

Their Total Interior Detailer is a super mat finish with an SPF35 and cleans as well! It also smells good and has an odor neutralizer in it.

Thanks for the correction on the word. I thought hydrophobic meant it absorbed water.

I was going to say, there is a TON of plastic and rubber on these Rams that need loving! The gasket around my windshield has already started to shrink up. I'm hoping a few coatings of Super RVT will allow it to return to stock size. It also made the trim at the bottom of my window openings look GREAT!

I love Super RVT. I need to order some of their interior stuff, but for now I use Meguire's Gold Class stuff, works great, and doesn't leave a glossy finish (which I HATE)

No prob, only reason I said it was because I've been looking at new wax technologies lately and they have a new type called superhydrophobic and that stuff is crazy.

Be careful jumping on the "new type" band wagon. It's not always as great as it's made out to be.

Strangely enough, I always dress my plastic and rubber exterior with something other than 303; it had never occured to me to use it as an exterior dressing.
I guess everything happens for a reason :waytogo:
