Why not? Depends on section width or the tire I'm running 13.5 wides on a stock 20 without issue. I'd consult manufacturer of the tire to see what wheel width they reccomend using with that tire.

Yeah manufacturer specs are God in my opinion for safety. They know too narrow you'll get wear and fold too wide your bead will pop and leave ya stranded.

I ran 315/75/16 on a 16x7 with absolutely no issue and even wear.

Maybe wouldn't be too bad on stock 17x8s but 17x7s would probably be cutting it too close if it's a 12.5" wide. Most people would say that the centers would wear quicker than the rest of the tire, but, it's good to see that people have replied saying they haven't had any problems. You most likely won't find manufacturers specs that recommend a 7" wide rim for 35x12.5s.

Nitto makes a 35x11.5x17, but they're pricey

Like a Brandon said, it depends on the width of the tire. If the stock wheel isn’t at least 9-9.5” wide, it’s probably not wide enough to support a 35x12.5x17 tire. It’s that middle number in the tire that you’re thinking about getting that could be the make or break feature. Ive got that size tire on aftermarket 9.5” wheels and they look really nice.

To the OP, are you wanting to know if the tires will fit on the rims, or if that tire/rim combo will fit on the truck?
