Hey Guys and Gals
When i recently bought my 22 ram 3500 they told me at the dealership no special equipment needed to tow with ram box. I now find that is not the case. It really drives me insane they told me this. Any way i have the truck and to boot they installed a bw turn over ball with fifth wheel companion in the truck. After more research i find that the only way to tow fifth wheel is with sidewinder pin box. That is not something you can do with the fifth wheel companion they installed. (Please note i have yet to hook up and try it out with Lippert pin box on my fifth wheel). I heard from another guy online he has towed 5 years with his fifth wheel and same hitch no sidewinder. Please note i had this fifth wheel delivered to me in 2017 when i hooked it up to my truck at the time i thought i was good to go and destroyed the tailgate of a new truck. I don't want that to happen so literally i am scared lol. Only looking for real life discussion not third party is doing it.
