Just wondering how much of a lift/level is required to fit 35x12.5 R18s on an 05 ram 1500 4x4 without rubbing

Aftermarket rims, think they have a 1 inch offset, but im not positive.

Looking at this website real quick it looks like you will need a 3"-4" lift. Usually when you research a lift and look at the details of the lift, it will tell you what the max tire size is and on what size and offset rim it will need to be on.

3 inch lift or higher will fit 35 inch tires. you may have to trim away some of the plastic in the wheel wells to solve any rubbing in that area. You may also experience problems with the truck chewing up front end parts, but that's across the board when installing big tires.

Hi,

I have been looking at a 4" lift and per the manufacture web site that will fit
35x12.50 R20 35" instead of my existing 275 60 20 33" tires.

I am not sure 2" in tire size change in height and 1.5" in width is much better?

Can someone comment if it's worth it?

Thanks

Alex
