My truck is fixing to receive much deserved love. Its a 2014 4x4 Quad cab. I am looking at some wheels and tires and I have decided on 37's on 22's. I can only find the tires 13.5 wide. what combination of lift (suspension / body) will I need to fit 13.5s? I know I will need new gears also, does anyone have any recommendations? (3.92,4.56,ect)

Thanks!

How wide of a wheel are you planning to run and what offset? That will really determine what you need lift wise. Obviously if you have a narrower stance you can get away with less lift to run that size tire. If you want a wider stance you're going to need more lift.

As far as gears go 4.56's are the best option for 37's. Yukon Gears makes very good products that I'd recommend using. However regearing a 2014 1500 isn't as simple and just replacing the ring and pinion. You'll need to get a front diff front a 2011 or order truck in order to swap the front gears. Plus you'll need machining on both differential housings in order to fit the 4.56 ring gear. Overall you'll be looking at approximately $3500 installed.

I would have to double check but I believe its the 8 speed auto

Okay then. Best gears I would guess would be the 3.92s. Make sure you figure out which one's you have. There is a sticker on the driver's side of the rear axle that will tell you what your truck has.

Yeah that seems like a bit much. Would the 3.92 ring gear be able to be installed without all that? I may reconsider getting 37s if I have to replace my front diff.

The 3.92's can be installed without machining but you'll still need a front diff from a 2011 truck. On 2012 and up the welded the ring gear to the carrier so it can't be removed.
Your best bet would be finding someone who has 3.92's stock who wants your gears and fully swap the differentials between the 2 trucks.

on the 2014 you can go to the dealer and buy 3.92's and have them installed. the 2014 ring gear is not welded in in 12/13
