Have an 04’ 2500 Diesel (NV5600) & looking for recommendations on reasonably priced aftermarket tow mirrors. Have done cheap ones off Amazon 2x now with almost immediate unsatisfactory results (shake/vibration/cheap materials). Just need basics - power adjust & fold out like OEM ones. Would be ecstatic if there is something in the $200 range vs $500-$700.
Not looking to augment a part to something about the need for brackets I saw in searches (?) - just an all in the box replacement solution. Appreciate it & feel free to point me to other recent threads if they address. Leslie

Have you considered getting OE ones from the auto recyclers?
You could do some searching on car-part.com

I’ve thought about it but given the age of the truck I’d end up w/ an aged part that much closer to breaking. It is an option tho & I didn’t know about car-parts.com. Thx 4 the suggestion!

Got a good OEM set waiting on a new home, used to be on my '03 1500. PM if interested.

Try 1A Auto Trail Ridge brand. Not sure if they have them for 3rd gen but I have bought a couple of sets for the 4th gen and they are great

I went cheap at a junk yard years ago when I first got the truck and purchased 1, I repeat ONE from a truck that had 2 matching ones on it. The one on my passenger's side is the one I replaced. To this day, I have not had any problems with either one. However, the one from the junkyard is still a nice gloss black while my original on the driver's side is faded gray. I have tried all the tricks and chemicals to get them to match, but once the dye is gone, it's gone. I should have gotten them both. Cheep cheep!

Even the propane torch, or heat gun?
(use at your own risk, no guarantees, we can't be held responsible).

Just curious.
What? Burn it in? haha I'd like glossy black, not charcoal black LOL
