I have an 05 Ram 1500 Laramie with steering wheel controls for audio and cruise. Maybe I never noticed but there doesn't seem to be any lights for the cruise buttons on the steering wheel when the lights are on. I'm honestly not sure if it was always this way or if I have a new problem. Does anyone know those button are meant to light up and if so, any thoughts on what might have happened. A quick internet search had a couple of comments that those buttons don't actually light up which seems odd.

Thanks everyone

Thanks Smokeybear. It's so odd as they look like they should light up but I'm thinking they don't. I saw a youtube video of a guy who changed his dash bulbs to a different color since he didn't like the green hue. He did a night video, zoomed out, and nothing lit up on the steering wheel. Thanks for confirming. It was driving me nuts wondering and I was about to tackle the clockspring but now probably no need. Thanks
