would the front fit right up? because i'm thinking on doing a coil over suspension in the back, my leaf springs are looking mighty tired.

there is a shop that my dad goes to, and another shop right down the street from me. so i can try to get to a quote.

but if it's not worth it, then never mind, i just want a stage 1 ram runner suspension kit.

I think the front end is very similar. I'm guessing it would take quite a bit of fab work to get rid of the leafs and put in the coil overs

Picking up Unbroken's stock suspension parts a few weeks ago would have been huge (I think one of your buddies grabbed then to hoard)

It would be a bit if fabrication but I dont see why you couldn't use stock 4th gen coils, control arms and sway bar

You would have to have control arm mounts welded to te frame and axle tube as well as spring perch and new shock mounts probably

Once I get more $, I plan on a supercharger. But that's way down the road.

if you plan on keeping it for a good while and your planning on adding more power like supercharger and stuff like that then it might be beneficial to save up and just get your rear end 4linked and then you have coilovers and an awesome suspension for racing

I'm not sure what these "linked suspensions" are. Care to explain?

Got it. Would this be expensive to do? I'm in class right now, so I'll probably ask right after.

Yes, unless you can fab your own 3 or 4 link...for instance. I was gonna bag my S10, to do so I needed a 3 or 4 link back half, a quality bolt on 4 link for an S10 runs around $1000. Now, if you had some skill and the frames are the same width, you could find a wrecked Gen4 and transer the 4 link off of it onto yours...To build your own, you really need to know alot about rear end articulation, geometry, etc.

Your truck is an 08. Why would you say your leaf springs are tired? Unless the previous owner towed/hauled a hell of a lot.

Yeah, I'm just gonna pay someone to do it....

And yes, they did do a lot of hauling. My bedside looks torn up, and my leaf springs make a w.

Most 4x4 fab shops should have no problem doing this. If possible, getting a rear axle from a linked ram would save a good bit of labor too and whoever builds it shouldnt have n e issues with building to it.
