So I have the itch for a new truck. My current Ram 1500 has 147K km on it. It’s honestly the best truck I’ve ever owned. Good power, fuel economy and ride. I also really like the interior.

So my problem lies in lack of payload. My truck is just under 1100 lbs rated. I need to haul 1800lb sacks of pig food. Long story short, I took a 2020 3500 limited dark series overnight. Beautiful looking truck. Don’t think I can get used to the stiff ride. it also annoyed me that the new 1500 cabs are sweet, and the HD cheaped out and keep my gen style.

Fast forward to today when I picked my ‘17 up from the shop after the Readylift 4” SST install. Love it. I’m gonna keep this truck for a while now. I’ll dump some cash into my ‘01 2500 Cummins dually conversion farm truck, and it will tide me over and solve my itch.

Farm truck work in progress.

Seeing as this was about 15 months ago now, how do you like the lift after over a year of driving it? Still like it? Any issues? Things to watch out for? Still love the truck and the ride?

I got the same 4” SST lift on mine and so far it’s great.
