I have a 2006 ram 1500 with the 45rfe that has a slight delayed up shifts, shifts somewhat hard into reverse and sometimes goes out of overdrive when I release the gas. I replaced the shift solenoid, governor pressure sensor, both filters and fluid with atf+4, but still no fix. Bottom of the pan had minimal shavings (barely any in the magnet) and the old oil was still red. It really only happens when I give it moderate throttle. I tried manually shifting from 1st to 2nd back to drive and it shifts perfectly. Do you think I need a quick learn procedure done on the tcm? Or maybe something else?

Also one thing to note it, shifts fine with light throttle and full throttle, but delay shifts at medium throttle.

Okay guys I found the issue for anyone who has the same issues, try this. I had the dealership do a diagnostic on the transmission and they found no error codes or anything out of the ordinary. They did a quick learn and said everything was good. The shifting really only happens when you give it medium throttle, but it was still going out of OD. Anyways I did some more research without looking at the transmission and found the problem can be the tps.(articles stating that other vehicles such as the ford explorers and the chevy silverados tps could cause slow shifting and going out of OD, but nothing on the ram hemis). After doing some research I found that the tps on the hemi models is only a "drive by wire" system. I ended up having the replace the throttle body and everything went back to normal. One thing I also forgot to mention in the original post was weird hard starts in the morning and the rpm gauge would drop all the way down to 200 rpm when cruising or at idle, except the truck didn't rumble or feel like low idle. Again this could be a voltage issue I had in my other throttle body. I also noticed prior to this my voltage was a little high. The three other problems , (Rpm gauge, hard starts, and voltage) didn't seem like a main concern, instead these were the problems contributing to my transmission slow shifts, OD downshifts and having hard shifts from drive to reverse. Just wanted to post this before you guys started dumping money like I did. I guess the good news is, I have a new shift solenoid, filters, trans fluid, sped sensors, governor pressure sensor, and a diagnostic test that says the trans is fine. lol

Thanks for sharing your solution. Glad your truck is back to normal.
